Challenge: A global pandemic forced cancellation of a high-stakes national sales meeting. The sales org still needed to build skills, align messaging, and energize and inspire a dispersed sales force.
Goal: Deliver an engaging, scalable, and measurable alternative to live training. The experience should replicate the energy of a conference and sharpen consultative discovery skills.
-
Immersive design: Virtual escape-room game format with branching scenarios and progressive challenges
Learning focus: Asking better questions, uncovering needs, and mapping solutions. Practice was framed as puzzles to “unlock” the next step
Engagement mechanics: Team-based play, time pressure, scoring, and recognition integrated into the rollout
Format: 100% remote, but delivered with the excitement of a live experience
-
Discover: Partnered with sales leaders to identify critical gaps in discovery conversations
Design: Scripted game clues and challenges (200 pieces of content) around real-world buyer scenarios
Pilot: Tested with select reps, refined pacing and difficulty
Scale: Rolled out across the full sales organization with leaderboards and cash prizes totalling 50K
